Values Plus Foundation is a non-profit organization that caters to the needs of children, and under-privileged adults by providing values based education, free and healthy food and empowering them with resources for the future.

Academic excellence is an absolute necessity in today’s modern world. However, there is a higher learning that transcends all academic learning. In this age of rapid changes in technology, children’s focus has turned towards gadgets, 180 degrees away from the fundamental quality of life and mother nature. This has led to higher levels of dissatisfaction, frustration, behavioral disorders, and ultimately adverse impact on the society. In fact, morals and relationships have hit the rock bottom. That leads us to the next question - how can we develop holistic personalities for the next generation? Fortunately, the answer comes in the form of Values Plus Foundation. Values Plus Foundation strongly believes that children who grow up with immaculate personal behavior, strong emotional quotient and spiritual strength can help build a values-oriented humanitarian society. Value Plus Program teaches children these core human values and nurtures them into well-rounded, emotional and highly spiritually intelligent individuals.

Children exhibit negative behaviors when they feel out of balance at the deepest core of themselves - that is, when they have lost touch with themselves. This makes them feel unsafe. It is this imbalance and lack of safety that manifests as negative and worrisome behaviors and habits that we are currently seeing through rise in crime rates in schools and society in general. At Values Plus Foundation, we address these deepest issues. Values Plus program makes them understand what’s going on inside them, what values are being compromised as a result of various external influences and what’s causing the internal confusion for them. Children undergo practical training via simulated life scenarios. They are trained to deal with issues in a time-tested approach with a higher level of human intelligence.
Values Plus Program is more than just another curriculum. It is a framework for navigating through one’s values, connections and experiences throughout one’s life. This encompasses various skill sets. These skills sets provide a strong anchor to a child’s core values and leads them through a trajectory of social competence, confidence, and success.

Some of the activities that form part of the Values Plus Program are Arts and Crafts, Culture and Heritage, Drawing and Painting, Values Olympics, Music, Dance, Musical Instruments, Mindfulness Yoga and the like. Quizzes, Debates, Writing and Speech contests, Drama and Expressive Art are regular events and activities of the Values Plus Program. Conflict Resolution, Anger and Emotions Management (Self-Regulation), Relationship Building, Positive Thinking, Reasoning Power, Resilience, Self-Esteem and Confidence, Selflessness and other skill-sets are imbibed through various simulated classes and scenarios.

At Values Plus Foundation, we believe that children must learn to see nature’s beauty, experience transcendence, and appreciate the timeless truths of various cultures. Children are taken on various value-trips (field trips) to experience the subtle natural excellences. Children also get to experience open-air classrooms in the serenity of nature like the time-tested Gurukul systems. Unfortunately, the mundane and material aspects, though important, have assumed too huge a place in modern life, leaving a thirst for “real meaning of life” that is often difficult to satisfy. Values Plus Program quenches this thirst.
